Description
This is great music. THIS one is a Masterpiece! Pressed at Columbia, Pitman. Number Two on the list of the highest selling jazz (and jazz fusion) albums based on RIAA info, behind "Kind of Blue".
I recall in Miles Davis' autobiography, he wrote about being somewhat put out by the reception of Head Hunters as a revolutionary album and its enormous commercial success. He felt it mined the same rock and funk-influenced jazz territory as his "On The Corner" album the previous year, which had caused few ripples at the time. I believe Head Hunters was better of the two. Herbie Hancock's Head Hunter is simply one of the most seminal and influential Jazz Fusion albums ever released. The KC32731 is the primary and first of the 1973 releases. The PC32731 is the press of 1974 and later. Thank you for your valuable time and read. view the photos. Vinyl will ship outside the jacket.
