Original 1973 U.S. Columbia pressing of Herbie Hancock’s classic jazz-funk album “Head Hunters.”

Catalog number: KC 32731
Pressing plant: Columbia Pitman
Side 1 matrix: P AL 32731-1A
Side 2 matrix: P BL 32731-1A

The early 1A/1A matrix numbers identify this as a desirable first pressing.

Record is visually graded VG+. The vinyl retains a nice gloss but has visible light scratches and surface marks from normal handling and use. Record has not been fully play-tested, so some background noise may be present.

Cover is approximately VG+ with bright, vivid artwork and light age, edge and corner wear. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition.

Includes the classic tracks “Chameleon,” “Watermelon Man,” “Sly” and “Vein Melter.”

A highly collectible original pressing of a landmark jazz-funk and fusion album.
