Listening Notes To celebrate Blue Note's 80th birthday, Don Was curated a reissue series that showcased many aspects of the label across 37 titles. The records were cut direct from the original tape by AAA specialist Kevin Gray, and pressed by Optimal. We have personal copies of most of them, and can confirm they were some the best value jazz reissues of the last year.
