Ear Mark and Van Gelder Stamp
This LP is an original US copy with both the Van Gelder stamp and Ear mark in the dead wax. The Playing surface is in EX condition,with only the slightest of paper scuffs and one small very light mark, only noticeable under close inspection. This album plays suberb on a quality system. I have played both sides and there is no surface noise or distortion at all. There are many quiet passages of music throughout the album, during which any back ground noise would stand out- there is none! Play graded EX++,plays beautifully. The labels are bright and fresh looking.However, there is what appears to be a small dab of ink,made by a felt marker pen on side one next to the centre hole.
The sleeve of the record is in EX- condition. There is one very clean seam split along the top edge which has been sellotaped. The spine has no splitting and is almost free of any wear with the title wording clear and intact. There is some wear on the bottom seam but no splitting. The card retains it's original stiffness with no corner bending or folds. The corners are sharp,only the bottom left corner has any significant wear. Slight ring wear on the upper front cover but otherwise bright and fresh. There is the slight residue mark of a removed pricing stamp on the top left of the front cover, it is faint and smaller than the size of a small postage stamp. On the reverse there is a half moon residue mark left by the removal of a circular sticker but very little else in the way of general aging or wear.
The inner sleeve is a die cut white sleeve which is clean but showing signs of aging, the originallity of which, I am unsure
This LP record is part of a collection of 45's 78's and lp's ,rock,pop,soul and jazz, that I will be listing on ebay over the next few months. I have graded the record as concisely and accurately as possible.
