Description
The label has New York USA on both sides; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover, mono. The record has "van gelder" and the "ear" inscribed in the dead wax. 6 tracks. Leader, Hancock, piano; Freddie Hubbard, trumpet; Dexter Gordon, tenor sax; Butch Warren, bass; Billly Higgins, drums.
Cover: Good 2 corners show about 1/2" paper loss , though no obvious splits. Some edge wear on the insert edge. 2 horizontal wrinkle lines about 1" long on front cover at the spine. Some overall light aging with faint record rings on the front and back covers. Name written in red ink on the back cover with a small red mark near 1 tune in the tune schedule on the back cover. Some small tear marks and wrinkles on the notes on the back cover. These do not effect the notes. Some soil and moderate wear on the back cover.
Record: VG+ to Mint(-) Visually shows very light wear with several light surface rub marks on both sides. Except for 2 or 3 clicks at the beginning revolutions on Track 1, Side 1, no surface noise. Fine sound with no interference. Audibly checked.
