Description

Herbie Hancock

"Takin' Off"

Product

Record Grade: VG++

Appears almost unplayed. Amazing copy of one of the all-time great recordings. "P" or "Ear" is in the dead wax.

Cover Grade: VG+

Maintains original gloss. Spine is fully intact and stunning. Two instances of writing on the back cover. An incredible set here, that also features the original inner sleeve. Truly doesn't get much better than this.

Shipping

Given the rarity of this recording in this condition, I'd recommend shipping USPS Priority to ensure the safest arrival possible. However will ship Media Mail if wanted. All records are shipping in a Mighty Mailer.

Grading Scale

All records are visually graded under a very bright light. Will play grade on request. Please reach out if you have any specific questions regarding an auction item

NM
Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. This grade is very rarely used.

VG++
May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.

VG+
A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG
Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

VG-
A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G
Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range
