Herbie Hancock on Blue Note 4109

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Herbie Hancock “Takin’ Off” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4109.  Other than a few inaudible superficial scuffs, the playing surface is in excellent condition, with a nice luster.  The laminated West 61st cover is bright and clean throughout, with sharp corners and unworn seams.  Illustrated inner sleeve is included.

Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Dexter Gordon, Butch Warren, and Billy Higgins.
