Herbie Nichols   'Herbie Nichols Trio '  BLUE NOTE BLP 1519 USA) mono deep groove Lexington labels and address on bottom of back cover - original 1956 issue - record has flat edge, frame cover and on trail off (dead wax) has stamped 'RVG' and has the 'ear'    Herbie Nichols : piano - Al McKibbon (A1 to A4, B4) or Teddy Kotick (B1 to B3, B5) : bass - Max Roach : drums Side A :  The gig - House party starting - Chit-Chatting - The lady sings the blues (H.Nichols-B.Holiday) - Terpsichore Side B :  Spinning song - Query - Wildflower - Hangover triangle - Mine (Gershwin) All compositions by Herbie Nichols except as indicared
Visual grading : record is VG full lustre has light surface marks and few not feelable light scratches. Also has light scuffs and wispy unfeelable lines on both sides mostly visible under a bright light. Clean labels with some light splindle wear Playing grading: record is VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound typical of the old Blue Note records. Has some light background noise and light occasional tics. The record is well enjoyable Cover grading : cover is VG has light wear to corners, edges and to spine. Bottom right corner is lightly bumped and has been repaired for a very small split. Front and back cover have a light rubbing (back cover mostly around the edges)
