A beautiful US promo copy of Shuggie Otis' debut album "Here Comes Shuggie Otis". This is the original pressing on Epic Records. There is no white label available for this release. Promo copies from this era on Epic had a red and white demonstration sticker or a red or black stamp.
This is really hard to find super clean. This one has very low ring wear compared to most, and the back has practically none. I would rate the jacket a strong VG+, with light wear on the top spine and in the corners. The disc is beautiful and looks almost unplayed. There is a very light mark on the first track on side one, and a light scratch on the first song on side two and a fingerprint on side two that I could not remove. The album plays beautifully and quietly once the music starts but there is some light ticking on both sides during those tracks, most audible when he is talking about the musicians on side two. Overall the listening is a 9/10 on this copy and I would rate it a strong VG+ if not closer to Near Mint -. Also comes with original generic inner sleeve but it has been placed in a new poly sleeve after vacuuming.
