Description
Larry Williams. Here's Larry Williams. 1959. Black and Gold Specialty Label. Deep Groove. DG. This is the "heavy" vinyl pressing from 1959, listed in Goldmine, with no copyright information on the rear cover. Record weighs 184 grams!
Record plays very nicely. There is a little surface noise, and there are some soft clicks when played on a high end moving coil cartridge. There are mostly light scuffs on the record, and a few tiny marks.
The jacket has faint ring wear on the front, a few creases, clear tape along almost all the spine, and about half the top seam. Bottom seam partially split. Steve wrote his name on the rear, near top. Also a bit of a wrinkle on the rear cover, near the spine. See pictures.
Cleaned on my Clearaudio Matrix record cleaning machine and placed it in a premium Japanese inner sleeve. Jacket is stored in a premium Japanese re-sealable sleeve. All LPs listed are from my personal collection.
Goldmine book value of this 1959 mono record is $200 in NM condition.
