Description
HEROES AND VILLAINS, Beach Boys 45 rpm vinyl (Brother Records 1001; 3:36): a centerpiece song of Brian Wilson's legendary "Smile" project; a collaborative effort with songwriter Van Dyke Parks; an incredibly creative follow-up single to "Good Vibrations"; charted at #12 in U.S. after July '67 release. B side: "You're Welcome"
Includes a relatively rare and textured picture sleeve. PS condition: EX- sturdy, no seam tears or stains; slight dimpling or imperfections at TOP on both sides as can be seen in photos. Overall: a strong copy of an artistic 47 year old PS.
Vinyl condition: EX- nice sheen, looks new at a glance, both sides play cleanly - - a few superficial hairline markings noticable under a light; thin scuff on B side but no impediment to sound; a couple crackles or pops on silent lead-in to "You're Welcome," nothing jarring or unusual. Overall: a strong disc; pride of ownership evident.
