Description

Carol King and Gerry Goffin were one of the titanically important and successful songwriting teams of the Brill Building era.  Here is a demo of a song they wrote together called Hey Girl, that was recorded by Freddie Scott and was a significant hit in 1963.  It's clearly not Goffin or King singing on the demo, does anybody know who it is?  It does sound like Freddie Scott, but I don't think it's the released version.   The 10" 45 rpm acetate is in nice VG+ shape, no lead sheet with this one.
