If you have ever been to the Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church, you will sense right away that there is something different about this church. The people at this church are not afraid to express how they feel about Jesus, and they are most enthusiastic in their love of good gospel music and gospel groups. They have enjoyed many professional groups, but they share a special love for the Winkler's Grove Quartet that is apparent when they sing. This group is devoted to their church, and the church people are certainly devoted to them. There are several things I really like about this quartet. First, they know what they are going to sing and they know how to sing it, and it sounds GOOD!!! When they sing, you can tell they know who they are singing about. These talented young people can bring "amens" and shouts of praise from their audience when they sing songs like "Master of the Sea,” "On the Way Home,” and other favorites included on this album. Besides being some of the best gospel singers we know, we count them as some of our best and closest friends. In fact, Charles, Dale, Cheryl, Dean, and Terry are "Our Kind of People". Claude D.
