About the record: Red Eye Reprisal is the second LP from crust/ hardcore quartet HidingInsideVictims (Ventura, CA). The 9-track full-length was recorded by producer and engineer Armand John Anthony of Night Demon. Obvious influences include Wolfbrigade, His Hero is Gone, and Tragedy. "For us, this release feels more coherent, cohesive, deliberate, and collaborative, with more straightforward driving rhythms, but experimenting also with alternate timings and themes while staying true to our earlier technical d-beat crust origins."
Active and touring since 2009, the band is composed of members of 3-Day Holocaust, Throat Cancer, The Last Priority, Schismism, Ghetto Blaster, and Form Rank.
