Description

High Tide - Sea Shanties. Yes, very rare / great LP! Hard-rock / prog / psych - on Liberty Records label (Transamerica Corporation). Original pressing! Original songs: "Futilist's Lament" / "Death Warmed Up" (9:10!) / "Pushed, But Not Forgotten" / "Walking Down Their Outlook" / "Missing Out" (9:37!) / and "Nowhere" -

Highly sought after UK behemoth, c. 1969 - Liberty Records LST-7638.

Interesting facts: produced by Denver Gerrard (Denny Gerrard of Warm Sounds) in return for High Tide acting as the backing band on his solo album, Sinister Morning. LP design - Paul Whitehead (Paul Whitehead is a British painter / graphic artist known for his surrealistic album covers for artists such as Le Orme,  Genesis and Van der Graaf Generator). Album is also famous for being one of the first to utilize a violin as a rock instrument.

Guitar (Tony Hill), violin (Simon House), bass, drums; all original songs; excellent artwork! (see pictures); VG+ jacket (light RW), NM vinyl - beautiful condition!
