Selling-up my large record collection.
So, what have we here? I'm going to quote "Bob's Boots", the number one Internet information resource.  "The six songs on this LP came from an 11 track alternate  'Highway 61 Revisited' CBS acetate that surfaced in New York in 1978. The origins and history of the acetate are unknown. 5 tracks were identical to the released versions. 'Can you please crawl out your window' and 'Desolation row' are earlier versions only discovered on this acetate. All other tracks are the CBS release tracks, but in very different mix and with longer endings."
They go on to say  "This 1979 release is a very simple looking package.  Blank labels. Unknown USA manufacturer. Probably 'East coast'. The simple package belies the incredible studio quality sound.

 Cover - has two components - a generic card sleeve covered in ?maroon? glossy paper. This has come unstuck up one seam, and has (also, separately) torn vertically from top, to about halfway down, following a seam / edge in the card, about half an inch in from the opposite side to the unstuck edge.   The other component is the info / picture sheet, which is printed on very thin glossy paper. This is in excellent condition, just some little stains on right-hand edge.
Record - is in very good condition. Close examination revealed - on side one, some trivial surface marks - perhaps surface marks, perhaps just swirls in the vinyl. No scratches or impacts. Particularly if recycled vinyl is used, records aren't always a shiny uniform black.  Side two has a little group of tiny impacts, at the end of track 1. I have had a listen - loud, on my posh hi-fi - to the part where I noticed the little impacts. Doesn't skip or stick, but does cause a moderate click for a few rotations.  Interesting version of Desolation Row, different atmosphere from the album version, and as usual, Dylan makes minor differences / improvements to the words in the succeeding takes of a song, several differences from the final album version, just in the part I heard. Audio is, indeed, excellent. Final production and mastering tends to produce a slightly more subdued final sound, whereas a version dubbed straight off the master-tapes, as here, can actually be livelier and clearer.
When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.
Postage at cost within UK - £3.20 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.70. One can send up to 2 kilos for £3.20. For UK buyers - if you buy several items on the same day, and you're looking for combined postage, don't pay, and message me to ask for an invoice that includes combined postage.
Dispatch will usually be "next day", if you pay promptly. My auctions end on Sundays, and I post on Monday afternoon. I only go out to post once a week, during lockdown, so if I receive payment after 14.00 Monday, parcel goes into the next Monday's posting.  Collection in person is usually welcome, but not when there are lockdown rules in effect, which forbid it.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer. They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer. This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.
Please be sure that you understand what the postal charges will be, before bidding.
E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.  HOWEVER, if you win several items, and pay for them all in the same payment, their system may well spot this and do combined postage. If this happens, pay what you're told, and I will refund the excess postage paid to me - if you buy three LPs, I would be getting three lots of £3.70, but I can send all in one parcel, so I only need one lot of £3.70, usually. The exception is, if the items you buy weigh more than 2 kilos altogether, I need to make two parcels - there is a special cheap postage rate in UK, for parcels under 2 kilos. 
Overseas customers - please DON'T request an invoice - I can't make one, and it screws-up the e-bay system.
International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme. If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid. International postage to the following countries will be shown (this is the latest list that I've seen - lotta countries!)
