Hilltop Hoods test pressing of 'State of the Art' signed by Pressure, Suffa and Debris 

 

So what is a test pressing?

 

Definition;

White label or test pressings are vinyl records with adhesive plain white labels affixed. Test pressings, usually with Test Pressing written on the label, with catalogue number, artist and recording time or date, are produced in small quantities (usually under 5 copies) to evaluate the quality of the disc production.

 

So basically it is the most collectable and rare pieces of vinyl you can find.

 

Pressure himself has dug up his test pressing of the Hoods platinum certified 5th studio album “State of the Art” and donated it to the Flood Money Auction. Can’t really get much more rare than that can you? This belongs in a hall of fame or something, but this piece of Australian music history could be yours! Did I mention they have signed both LP's yet?! Damn!

The Flood Money Auction is a fundraiser that is bringing together the Australian hip hop community to support those who have suffered after the devastating floods in QLD. The biggest and best have all donated some amazingly rare and valuable items to be sold with all proceeds going towards the Premiers Disaster Relief Appeal.
