This is SteepleChase Records 1078 & 1158, Hilton Ruiz Excition & Stepping Into Beauty The original complete quintet session from 1977featuring Roy Brooks Frank Foster and Richard Williams. These two volumes were originally sold separately but are bundled together here. The records are in VG++ (Excition) and Near Mint condition (Stepping) showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The covers are excellent and intact although Excition shows some shelf wear. The labels are excellent. The records were played on a Linn Sondek LP12 and cleaned on a VPI 17.
