Record: Beautiful! Looks & plays Mint- / VPI cleaned / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have never been played.
COMMENTS: Nice original promo copy (designated by hole punch) of this obscure 1970 solo LP from former Animals lead guitarist Hilton Valentine. It sounds at times a little like a more modestly talented variation on the rustic folky rock of other British blokes such as Ronnie Lane.
Notes from the CD reissue : "A beguiling blend of winsome, Donovan-esque psychedelic folk and chamber pop arrangements, sadly the album failed to find an audience, largely due to the record company deciding not to promote it after falling out with the Animals’ management. · All In Your Head is revealed to be a mesmerising period piece, its wide-eyed paeans to Mother Nature, flower-child nursery rhymes and overwhelming peace’n’love ethos capturing the era as accurately as many more celebrated albums.
