The Hippy Boys/First Generation
"Seven Heaven" b/w "What's So Good About Goodbye" 45 rpm 7" vinyl single
This is an original Jamaican pressing of this super-rare instrumental ska single. Released on Kingston, Jamaica based Gay Feet Records in 1969 (maybe earlier?). Side 1 is The Hippy Boys' killer instrumental "Seven Heaven", and the flip-side is First Generation doing an awesome American R&B version of the classic "What's So Good About Goodbye" (w/vocals). Vinyl matrix #'s: FSP-7110/ DYNA-S.E.P. 2068-1. In great shape!SEE PICS BELOW!
CONDITION -
Jacket: N/A; comes in a generic paper sleeve.
Vinyl: EX-; nice & clean with only a couple of very light surface marks (the most visible one is a light scratch through the middle portion of the First Generation side) that DO NOT affect play - NO skips or pops. Plays with a light crackle that may be inherent to the Jamaican pressing, but still sounds great!
Label:EX-; clean & scuff-free. Has "Slow Good" written in ball point pen above the title of the First Generation song. 45 spindle hole has four indentations where it looks like a 45 adapter was inserted. TRACKS - SEVEN HEAVEN, WHAT'S SO GOOD ABOUT GOODBYE
