I'm listing a some British 60's/70's Offshore Radio records at the moment. Some of of them are very rare.
All of the records are in a NM(+) condition with no scratches or scuffing (you could find some dust.. due to years of storage), unless described below. I got these records of a collector. All records were kept in a plastic record sleeve. I think most of the records are played maybe once! The previous owner put small yellow tags on the sleeves and labels. The tags are removeable, but might leave some resedue or discolouration.
I played one record and it sounded superb!

HERE IS A 1970 A MEGA-RARE LP MADE IN A VERY LIMITED QUANTITY NOT FOR SALE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC BUT AS PRINTED ON THE COVER"NOT FOR RETAIL SALE-MADE FOR DISTRIBUTION TO MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTERS SOCIETY".
"THE HISTORY OF OFFSHORE RADIO": RECORDINGS FROM OFFSHORE COMMERCIAL RADIO STATIONS 1958-1970. THE LP CONTAINS A SELECTION OF UNIQUE AND HISTORIC RECORDINGS(SOME OF WHICH MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ELSE) PRESENTED BY PAUL HARRIS,THE AUTHOR OF"WHEN PIRATES RULED THE WAVES". UNLIKE OTHER LPs OR CDs THAT EXIST,THIS LP INCLUDES SOME OF THE LESS OFTEN HEARD MATERIAL GOING WAY BACK TO THE EARLIEST STATIONS SUCH AS RADIO MERCUR,RADIO NORD AND RADIO SYD,THREE SCANDINAVIAN STATIONS 1958-1962 BEFORE THE BRITISH PIRATE STATIONS BEGAN. NATURALLY THERE IS A LOT OF TIME DEVOTED TO THE MAIN 1964-1967 ERA WITH RADIO LONDON,CAROLINE AND THE FORT BASED STATIONS INCLUDING THE FAMOUS CLOSING DOWN MOMENTS,REPORTS OF THE SHOOTING OF REG CALVERT(OF RADIO CITY) BUT THE MOST AMAZING AND SPINE CHILLING SEQUENCE IS THE RECORDING OF RADIO HAURAKI IN NEW ZEALAND IN 1968 RUNNING AGROUND WITH THE DJ HAVING TO ABANDON SHIP(THERE WERE NO SURVIVORS)AND THE MICROPHONE LEFT ON TO HEAR THE SHIP BREAKING UP AFTER HIS EMOTIONAL LAST FEW WORDS.THE DISC ENDS WITH THE RNI SHIP IN 1970 BEING ATTACKED BY BOARDERS.
THE NARRATION IS BY AN EXPERT ON THE SUBJECT,AUTHOR PAUL HARRIS AND AS SUCH IS 100% ACURATE MAKING FOR COMPULSIVE LISTENING. ANYONE WITH THE SLIGHTEST INTEREST IN THIS ERA OF BROADCASTING WHICH CHANGED THE WHOLE RADIO PRESENTATION STYLE FOREVER WILL FIND THIS LP A "MUST HAVE" AND BEARING IN MIND IT'S SCARCITY WILL BE BOUND TO ATTRACT KEEN BIDDING SO BE PREPARED FOR ACTION!
AS YOU WILL SEE FROM THE COVER THERE ARE PHOTOS OF THE RADIO SHIPS AND FORTS AND THE DISC HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED,PRESSED IN MONO ON THICK VINYL.
THERE IS NO CATALOGUE NUMBER-JUST AN IBS LOGO.

Sleeve: VG+: Front laminated sleeve. Front in in VG++ to NM condition. Back side in VG; no cuts, tears or holes. the back shows signs of aging (see picture 3)
