Description
Holidays In Europe (The Naughty Nought), K.U.K.L. Crass Records, 1986, first pressing, French variant. Copy that belonged to John Peel, the legendary British radio presenter and journalist, with his catalogue number in his hand on the front panel of the sleeve.
A lovely copy of the debut album from the anarcho-punk Icelandic band that featured Björk.
Record grading: Mint, no issues, entirely unmarked, does not look played except by myself, once only to check for quality and to film a video for this sale. No crackle. Exemplary condition. No spindle marks. See the video and the photos.
Outer sleeve:: Excellent +. No creases, no bumps, in excellent plus condition would be near mint but for some marks to the top right hand corner of the white sleeve. Otherwise a lovely outer sleeve. John Peel catalogue sticker with writing in his hand to the top left of the upper sleeve.
Inner sleeve: Mint, original printed inner sleeve, no discolouration, fresh and crisp.
From the collection of legendary British radio presenter and journalist John Peel (1939-2004). Peel was instrumental in supporting bands and singers such as The Sex Pistols, Joy Division, Nirvana, The Damned, Queen, The Cure, The Clash, The Undertones, David Bowie, T. Rex others, helping bring them to the awareness of the listening public; his ‘Peel Sessions’ in particular providing a hugely important platform for emerging talent.
As Discogs explains about this pressing 'very similar to original UK 1986 release, but marked with additional "Made in France" words at the bottom of the backcover and on the label.'
