1966 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
This pristine copy of their superb 1966 LP is a 1st UK mono pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7011
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is present in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback ('Beatles For Sale-style') gatefold mono cover.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A beautiful pair with few faint spindle marks around each centre hole but no other traces of wear. A small section of the silver centre hole marker is still present on the side 1 hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces of this wonderful copy are 'shop-new' in strong daylight with no traces of wear anywhere. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveal nothing more than a a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve removal/storage marks, but no scratches or any other signs of wear whatsoever.
Play: NEAR MINT
This album contained all Hollies composed material and is the sound of a group at the top of their game. This fabulous copy has received just a few very careful plays on top-quality equipment and all tracks sound 'as new'. My careful playcheck at volume found traces of any groove/play wear, background or any clicks, ticks or any other such distraction. There is really nothing to fault here at all and both the quality of the songs and the vinyl will not disappoint.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
This is the best example of this notoriously fragile cover I have come across. The delicate front leaf perfectly clean, flat & gloss with no creasing or any 'thumbnails'. All edges are sharp with no tears or feathering to any. The corners are also in superb shap with no bumps or bruising to any. The rear panel is easily its equal. The inside is clean & black where it should be with no rubbing or wear to the left panel. The cover's only blemish is a rub above the left corner of the lower flipback but both ends of the delicate hinge are fully intact inside & out. All seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is square and uncrushed with its factory pinched ends in perfect shape. Very hard to upgrade this one.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some unavoidable storage creases but no splits, tears or writing.
