Grace Chang, also know as Ge Lan, was born in 1933 in Nanjing, China. She moved to Hong Kong in 1948, where she became a successful film star. She was invited to perform on the Dinah Shore television show on American TV. This album was originally released on vinyl on Capitol records in the US.
