NM: The record may possibly have only been played a few times at most and could, but not necessarily, show some very minor visible signs of play/handling.
EX. The record has probably been played/handled marginally more times than NM condition but will still visually show a greater capacity of the record/Sleeve/Insert, to be in an acceptable well cared for condition showing just some light variable modest indications of play/handling.
Examples could include any one or a combination of the following:
Minor hairlines,scuffs or light markings that should not inhibit playback performance..
Creasing ,rubbing, small splits,wear and tear may be visible on Sleeves Inserts etc..
VG: This Grade will visibly show a greater and more pronounced and noticeable Indication of signs of play/handling than EX condition. This could include a visibly higher combination of any of the following variables: Scuffs,tears,splits,rubs, dull less glossy
vinyl, groove wear and some scratches which maybe feelable etc..
SLEEVES/INSERTS/EXTRAS:
All sleeves/ inserts etc are listed as variably between VG to EX condition unless otherwise stated.Please carefully check out any available images that are listed for your own satisfaction.
Note:
Any light wear to spindle,labels, hand written text or numbers, price stickers etc is very common place on many records and is deemed as acceptable. This is not always taken into account in the gradings description unless in mint condition ,so please be aware of this and view all images carefully to satisfy your requirements before purchasing/bidding .
Plus or minus symbols may also be used at discretion for a fluctuation between grades..
Please note:
I will always visually inspect and describe every vinyl record as accurately as possible - I don't play the records so assume they may, but not necessarily, show to have a bit of crackle and pop, background noise,hiss etc or could have some jumps/skips/sticking in places due to their age and being of a pre-used nature.
Personally, due to being a used item I highly recommend the cleaning of any record before initial play as this can sometimes help to enhance it's performance quite dramatically..
Please understand that if you want a copy that is going to be perfect then please do not bid for or purchase the item as I cannot guarantee the playback performance of each item, unless in Mint condition.
All vinyl records are shipped with royal mail 2nd class signed for delivery with tracking number(covers up to £50) in a strong secure cardboard record mailer, unless otherwise stated..
Please contact me prior to purchase or bidding if a higher insurance cover (paid by the buyer) is preferred so I can amend the final amount payable..
