Description
Up for auction is an original deep groove mono pressing of the Horace Silver Quintet & Trio 'Blowin' The Blues Away' LP on Blue Note BLP 4017. The musicians include Blue Mitchell, Junior Cook, Eugene Taylor, and Louis Hayes.
Record info:
Strong VG+ with some surface noise and visible residue on vinyl which appears to be for the most part inaudible. It plays and sounds great!
Cover info:
VG with solid seams except for a 3" middle split on spine. Cover has moderate creasing on two corners.
Pressing info:
Original 47 W. 63rd St. label, deep groove mono press with RVG initials and Ear logo on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
