Description
For sale I have a gorgeous copy of the Music Matters 2x45pm LP of the classic Horace Silver record “Cape Verdean Blues,” featuring Woody Shaw, Joe Henderson, and an appearance by J.J. Johnson. Many consider this Horace Silver’s best album, and it is certainly one of my favorites. I'm only selling because I need to trim down my collection to save space.
This is a numbered copy and this particular one is #0829, as you can see in the photos.
I have played this a few times with my VM540ML cartridge. Looks and sounds fantastic to me and I see no significant flaws, so I am grading the vinyl and jacket as near mint.
The Stoughton tip-on gatefold is gorgeous with no splits and nice sharp corners. This will ship in an awesome archival gatefold outer sleeve from Vinyl Storage Solutions, with the vinyl packed outside of the gatefold to avoid splits or ringwear. The original outer sleeve and hype sticker will also be included.
Let's talk about shipping. Don't you hate when you buy a record on eBay and the seller ships it with one of those flimsy white record mailers with no reinforcement and the USPS stomps on it? ME TOO.
That's why I only ship records with FedEx (these records are too precious for media mail) and packed tight with numerous cardboard reinforcement pieces and in an extra-thick record box like the kind of Acoustic Sounds uses. Charging a flat $6 which means I'm covering part of the shipping, but I'd rather do that than ship this through USPS.
