Up for auction is a rare 1965 mono pressing of the Horace Silver Quintet ‘The Cape Verdean Blues’ LP on Blue Note Records BLP 4220.  Other musicians include Woody Shaw, J.J. Johnson, Joe Henderson, Bob Cranshaw, and Roger Humphries.

Record info:

Strong VG+ with minor surface noise. It plays great!

Cover info:

VG+ with minor general wear. It does have creasing on two corners, nice clean seams. It has a 'Review Copy' stamp on the back. It comes with the original Blue Note Records inner sleeve.

Label / Pressing info:

1965 New York USA address label with Van Gelder stamp and ear logo on both sides in the dead wax.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
