Description
This is an auction of a GREAT VINTAGE JAZZ LP - Horace Silver Quintet - BLUE NOTE 5058 10" LEXINGTON AVE FLAT EDGE ORIGINAL RARE LP. Incredible golden age of bebop with Silver, Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley, Doug Watkins and Art Blakey. BIDDERS NOTE: This record is a must have for BLUE NOTE collectors BUT in overall poor condition - a nice place holder if you will. IT PLAYS WITHOUT SKIPS on my system but has a lot of surface noise - DO NOT expect to will play this record often. THIS RECORD AS A RESULT IS A NO RETURN SALE.
Record is visually graded as G- with many marks and light to moderate hairlines but does PLAY through without skips but has some loud background noise at the beginning of each side, cover is G- with some aging and ring wear and edge wear including a 10" split at bottom, a 2" split at top right and a 7" split at spine. BIDDERS NOTE - I don't have any lower grade for records that G-.
