Description

 Listed is a beautiful copy of The Horace Silver Quintet's  " Blowin' The Blues Away. I have been trying to find something wrong with the  front cover but can't really find any  negatives, so I to give it a NM grade.  It is beautiful !!! For records 56 years old this is a rarity. The back is very nice also. Because of the white background with black print there is some light discoloration, but the back cover still looks attractive and displays nicely. Bottom right corner on the back has a small tear but the seam has not split.   I would grade the back cover as a VG++. Vinyl has nice luster and shine with some hairline scuffing due to record extraction from the cover. A couple of light hairline marks are also visible. There is no warping present. The label is in very nice condition with the spindle hole looking almost unused. The trailoff portion of the vinyl  contains the stamped initials RVG and the ear on both sides. Also there is a deep groove on both sides of the label with a 47 west  63rd -  NYC address. This is a an exceptional example of the one of jazz's greatest groups and recordings!!
