Horace Silver Quintet - Blue Note 5062 - Lexington 10"- 1st MONO Pressing- RVG EAR No "R" / No "Inc" - Deep Groove - VG+ Vinyl LP
ONE OF THE MOST RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER JAZZ RECORDS IN THE WORLD. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 10" 1st MONO PRESSING FROM 1955 of "Volume 4" by the Horace Silver Quintet on Blue Note.
RVG BN-LP-5062-A / RVG BN-LP-5062-B, ETCHED IN DEAD WAX. The symbol of an ear is inscribed into the run out groove. The original 767 Lexington Ave NYC ADDRESS ON BOTH LABELS. There is no "Inc" and no "R" on the label. This is the genuine article. Deep Groove. 100% AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL Blue Note 1st Pressing.

Record Grade VG = Very clean vinyl for this records age. The vinyl has a few surface scratchesfrom normal use that do not affect the sound other than an occasion pop.. Amazing condition and quality. Shiny vinyl. Difficult to find this rare vintage record with the vinyl in such great condition. (see pictures)
Jacket Grade VG = Shiny, clean. No seem splits. Minor jacket corner dent at entry point of jacket from album use going in and out of sleeve. There is a persons name written in pencil on the back cover in two places and someone's name crossed out in ink. A beautiful jacket for a 60 year old album. (see pictures)

Horace Silver (born Horace Ward Martin Tavares Silva, September 2, 1928 – June 18, 2014) was an American jazz pianist and composer.
Silver is known for his distinctive playing style and pioneering compositional contributions to hard bop.
