Description
This is Blue Note Records BLP 4185, Horace Silver Quintet Song For My Father, a blue and white deep groove, New York labeled original mono issue, with the ear mark (p mark) and Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in near mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover has the 43 west 61st St., New York 23 address on the bottom. It shows writing on the back but is otherwise excellent and intact The labels are excellent showing only light spindle marks, but side 2 has an address label. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. An excellent, collectors grade copy of this wonderful set with all the original markers.
