Description

Horace Silver / Song for My Father  Blue Note, BST 84185, A Division of United Artists I rate this record as VG, because it does have a few scattered scrapes across an area 5/8" X 3" that cause distracting audible sounds for about 2 - 3 seconds when the needle comes to that area. This will happen for about 4 1/2 minutes of the first track (Song for My Father) the remaining portion of that first track plays VG. The remaining tracks on side one play VG+. On side two you can hear a 'light crackle' through the first 10 revolutions of the record, with the remaining portion of side two rated VG+. This is an excellent pressing of this record with impressive and clear fidelity. The cover condition is VG+/VG- with a small amount of wear on a couple corners and staining on a portion of the back. If you are willing to skip past the first track on side one the record plays at a solid VG+
