Horace Silver And The Jazz Messengers - Blue Note BLP 1518 Condition: Good
Reference discogs release 29415238 – Horace-Silver-And-The-Jazz-Messengers-Horace-Silver-And-The-Jazz-Messengers - As long as the references in discogs are correct, this LP is a mono release issued between 1958 and 1959. - This is an interesting one! – the labels on side A and B are different... - Side A has the original factory label print and address: “Blue Note Records 767 Lexington Ave NYC” with deep groove. - Side B has second factory address: “Blue Note Records 47 West 63rd NYC” with deep groove. - Side A and B runouts contain “RVG”, Plastylite “P” (ear), “BN-LP-1518-A (B)” - all etched.
Notes: - I have cleaned this LP using my VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine - Album is contained in a quality rice paper sleeve.
My LP grading scale, based on visual inspection: Near Mint: No visual flaws – looks new. Excellent: Very few imperfections. No visible scratches. Acceptable would be an extremely light/faint brush mark from taking the LP out of an original paper sleeve. Very Good: Faint light scratches are acceptable but not one deep scratch. Good: One or more deep scratches. I don’t grade the covers - the pics tell a better story than I can describe. I will provide pics if the cover is in bad shape.
