Description

Horace Silver Trio and Art Blakey Sabu

Blue Note USA BLP 1520

Has RVG and 'ear' in dead wax. Lexington Avenue address on label

Cover is Good. It isn't trashed but has small sticker pull on front and tape discreetly applied to some of the seams. Inner is a replacement. Labels are clean, and side 2 has a small letter 'b' stamped on it. The vinyl looks good but plays VG+(+) on a project deck and mid range ortofon cartridge. No jumps or sticks or loss of sound quality but it obviously plays with sporadic pops and ticks - but we are not talking 'bacon fat' here. It obviously hasn't been looked after but these pressings are solid and too rare to throw away. There are no deep scratches just scuffs and needle marks.

Not my style of jazz but it deserves to go to a good home. Might improve a bit for a really good clean.
