A fine mono DG copy of Blue Note 1518 "Horace Silver and the Jazz Messengers" - NOTE the vinyl is a W 63rd copy in a W 61st St. sleeve, which has some very light pencil markings on the upper right side. Otherwise the sleeve is tight and firm with no splits. Includes an original BN inner sleeve. ..the inner sleeve is also a West 61st era sleeve. PLAY TESTED - no skips or scratches. There is a light mark on Side 1, at the end of track 2, which does not affect play. See photo. Has "RVG" in the dead wax, but instead of ear has "Wb" inscribed on both sides. Record is unmarked, but  A  cleaning is recommended to remove dust,we do not professionally clean the vinyl.

On Nov-02-25 at 07:56:43 PST, seller added the following information:

EMENDATION TO THIS LISTING a/o 11/02/25... we have discovered that the "WB" inscribed in the dead wax stands for "WARNER BROTHERS" which apparently indicates that this is a later LIberty pressing EVEN THOUGH the label indicates W. 63rd St.  (AND the sleeve is W. 61st St.!!!) This is a confusing situation which I have not run into before even with some extensive experience with Blue Note albums. All buyers are welcome to submit their best offers based on  this new information.
