Description
This is a great vintage JAZZ LP Horace Silver & the Jazz Messengers ORIGINAL mono deep groove Blue Note BLP 1518 mono with 767 Lexington Ave address on one side and 47 W. 63rd St NYC address on the other. With Hank Mobley & Kenny Dorham. Absolutely wonderful music and plays great. Condition details: Record is visually graded VG+ with some light hairlines both sides but PLAYS VG++ (WITH A FEW TICKS IN SPOTS AND SLIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE IN SPOTS - MOSTLY UNHEARD) deep groove on both sides. There is a plastylite "ear" and engineered by Rudy Van Gelder with hand etched "RVG" in both sides of the dead wax. Side one label has the 767 Lexington Ave. address in script. Side two label has 47 W. 63rd St NYC address with inc & R. The cover is G+ and it has splits on top and bottom seams and residue from old tape with related discoloration at top and bottom, front and back. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St. New York 23.
