Description
Up for auction is a rare 1956 mono pressing of the Horace Silver with Art Blakey ‘Spotlight On Drums’ LP on Blue Note Records BLP 1520. Other musicians include Sabu, Gene Ramey, Curly Russell, and Percy Heath.
Record info:
Strong VG+ with some minor surface noise. It plays great!
Cover info:
Strong VG+ with minor general wear. It has some minor corner wear, very nice seams, and some age staining on the back.
Label / Pressing info:
1956 47 West 63rd address label. Deep groove with RVG stamp and ear logo on both sides in the dead wax.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
