HORACE SILVER "THE TOKYO BLUES" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #4110. Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels. Has the "EAR" and VAN GELDER stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Blue Mitchell/trumpet; Junior Cook/tenor sax; Horace Silver/piano; Gene Taylor/bass; John Harris Jr./drums. The vinyl is in phenomenal NM condition (beautiful sheen). Gorgeous! The thick laminated cover is in superb shape: bright & clean, displays wonderfully. Spine is virtually perfect and legible. Small sticker on front at top left corner. There is some tiny occasional wear on top edge and a very minor ½ inch seam split at top right. NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23. The songs are: Too Much Sake; Sayanora Blues; The Tokyo Blues; Cherry Blossom; Ah! So.***Crisp original early BLUE NOTE Records paper inner sleeve included!***
