ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This handsome LP – with cover design by Andy Warhol – from RCA (LM-9021, US pressing, plum/silver label – ED1, mono) features Vladimir Horowitz in a piano recital pairing 2 works by Felix Mendelssohn with 4 by Franz Liszt. The exact contents are as follows:

The liner notes on the reverse side (in English only) are by Robert A. Hague. The cover photo of Horowitz is credited to Bender, while the cover design of the backdrop was executed by Andy Warhol.
CONDITION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
The gradations of condition I use are as follows: MINT, Near-Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.
The condition of the jacket is GOOD. There are 8" splits to the top and bottom edges (beginning along the open edge) as well as a former dealer's sticker to the lower-left corner and the remnants of a sticker to the upper-left corner. In addition, there is general wear and aging.
The condition of the LP itself is GOOD. There is significant surface noise throughout, as well as some clicks on the Liszt side. However, both sides play through – there are no needle jumps or other unforgivable sonic defects.
The jacket front is still suitable for framing and while a not ideal copy, it is still one worth having. This item is sold "as is". I have graded it very conservatively and accurately. If you must have a NM, EX, or even VG copy, then please do not buy this LP. It is rated as GOOD, which is at the lower-end of the scale.
