Description

 
Ed Allen is on cornet, Bennie Moten clarinet, Clarence Williams piano,

with Jasper Taylor on washboard, and calling themselves the Dixie

Washboard Band they do "I've Found A New Baby" and "Boodle Am"

on electric Banner 1781.


Clarence Todd sings the nice vocal refrain on both sides.


Recorded in New York in May of 1926, the record is in excellent-plus

(E+) condition. There are some light pressure marks toward the end,

no noise. It is in the original Electrographic Banner sleeve.
