With a red hot extended trumpet solo by Chelsea Quealey, The

Goofus Five play "Clap Hands! Here Comes Charley!" on OKeh

40500. Adrian Rollini also plays a hot bass sax solo.


On the reverse side, with more great extended solo work by Quealey

and Rollini, as the group does "I Wonder Where My Baby Is

Tonight." (I also wonder what the very distinct 'squeak' is in the last

chorus of this side during a Rollini solo-perhaps a clarinet mistake,

or is it Rollini himself?)


Both sides of this great record were done in New York on October

29, 1925.


It is in excellent-plus (E+) condition and is in the original OKeh

sleeve.
