Description

This is an original vinyl album by The Weirdos and the voice of Mr. Gasser.  This rare LP " Hot Rod Hootenanny " (T 2010) is on the Capitol label.  Mr. Gasser is really Ed "Big Daddy" Roth the great hot rod builder and weirdo artist who's art was on everything from sweatshirts to trading cards.  The cover not only has a picture of Roth on the back , but a large fantastic example of his hot rod art on the front (it would look really nice in a frame on a wall).  The front of the cover looks clean and nice (the color is still vibrant, no writing and very slight wear), but the back has spots near each corner where tape used to be (I guess somebody else wanted it displayed as well).  Top seam is great , spine is decent , but the bottom seam is split.  This is one of those covers that is so hard to find perfect , because everybody loves it and wanted to look at it, draw on it , copy it , display it ..... ect.  To find the front so nice is a big plus.  The vinyl is in VG condition and plays through fine except for a pretty bad tick on track two on side one (The Fastest Shift Alive).  I had a ton of fun listening to this cool and funny rock album from the  hay day of hot rods.
I ship fast and TAKE GREAT CARE TO PACK GOOD AND SAFE in a new album mailer with filler pads for extra protection.
