Hot Shot - Ronnie Pearson - Herald- Green vinyl dated Mariano
Simple to the point Rockabilly as Ronnie lays it down to his girl while the sparse backing demonstrates you do not need a huge group to fill a room with crazy loud music. A couple of guitars a set of drums and a fantastic voice does it all. The sound reproduction is of course flawless on this 1974 dated Mariano repro.
When I was buying these and the dealer did not have the preferred colour of black I would always take a coloured one that looked good with the label and this green against the Herald label yellow is fabulous.

I heavily collected rockabilly repros for many many years and contributed to the 1992 book "20 years of Rockin Repros". I am now slimming down the collection and selling off a lot of records which I bought new from dealers a long time ago.
There will be repros and reissues. I intend to list about 10 45s a week, so keep an eye out for rare repros in the weeks and months to come. I am confident I shall be offering some repros that have never been on e-bay before. (Although I have seen some being offered as originals.)
There is a lot of play made now days of repros made by Henry Mariano. I shall mention those that are "Mariano’s" as they have become known. It should be noted these were generally pressed in fairly large numbers and were easy to find. The non-"Mariano’s" of the same period are often of equal quality but were, and remain, much more difficult to find.
