Description

This is a copy of the LP Evil by Howlin' Wolf, stereo US re-issue from 1978 on Chess CH 1540.                                 

The stamped and etched matrix no.s are  CH 1540 A 1  A  Union Jack(symbol)  #17977 -1  TR(circled) PA- 10-77  and  CH 1540 B 1  A  Union Jack(symbol)  #17978 -1  TR(circled) PA- 10-77

The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes. The labels are spotless with no stains, writing, spindle lines, stickers or scuffs.

The cover is in Very Good Plus condition. There are no stains, tears, tape, splits, ring wear, stickers or writing. There are a few tiny chips out of the print on the edges and a cut-out notch in the bottom edge. The spine is perfectly readable.

The generic, white paper inner sleeve just has a some handling creases and general ageing / browning to the edges.
