Description

This is a vintage Howlin' Wolf LP titled "Moanin' In The Moonlight" on Chess Records. The 1959 release features 10 tracks of Chicago Blues in 33 RPM. This is one of the holy grails of record collecting. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+) and the sleeve grading is also Very Good Plus (VG+). The LP is a first pressing and is a must-have for any blues collector.  The album showcases the iconic Howlin' Wolf and is a great addition to any music collection. The album surface looks very clean, high gloss and clean labels. Play tested and there is some background noise but I’m unsure if it’s just the original state of the master tapes. Very nice overall copy of very rare blues album. It plays with absolutely no skips.  It has some crackling especially in the quiet spots.  One side plays a little better than the other side.  I can record some of it if you would like to hear it.
