This poster is FANTASTIC! A very RARE and vintage ORIGINAL 1984 Rock and Roll Capitol Records w/Rainbow Productions LTD Promo Poster of one of the greatest Rock legends in history! Queen, fronted by Freddie Mercury, has been, and still is, one of the most iconic Rock Bands over a long 35 year career. With dozens and dozens of musical hits and albums (over 130 million records sold) Queen is truly a household name. You cant go to any stadium in the country (or world for that matter), at any level, without hearing "We are the Champions" or "We will rock you!" A 2001 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Queen represented everything that was loud and dramatic about the 70's and 80's! Queen was all about excess, flamboyancy, and daring! "The Works", their 16th studio album, was one of the last albums put out by the band. Freddie Mercury passed away in 1991!
The poster has been stored away for over 30 years and is vivid and colorful! The poster was stored rolled and slightly flattened over the years. There are no major creases but there are some minor creasing and edge wear on the left side. There is a very small tear on the left edge but all of that can be hidden with a nice frame. There are some small surface creases in some spots but overall an outstanding example of a vintage rock & roll poster from a legendary rock group.
