Description
Humble Pie "Street Rats"
This is a US vinyl pressing on A&M 4519 from 1975. This is a test pressing. It comes in a plain white cover with an 8 X 11 info sheet taped to the front. The labels are white and say 'Monarch Record Mfg. Co.'
The matrix numbers are : Side one : SP-4765-RE-1 M-1 and Side two : SP-4766-RE-1 .
The songs are : Street Rats, Rock And Roll Music, We Can Work It Out, Scored Out, Road Hog, Rain, There 'Tis, Let Me Be Your Lovemaker, Countryman Stomp, Drive My Car, and Queens And Nuns.
Why are test pressing so rare ?? A test pressing is the very first pressing of a record. It's made so that the artist, producer, engineer, and record company executives can approve the record. They are pressed in extremely limited numbers ( like 50 to 100 ) and are never repressed. They are sent out to selected people before the cover and labels have been printed.
Overall Condition : Cover : VG / Record : M
The cover is VG. There are no seam splits and there is no ring wear. There is writing on the cover. You can see the the right part of the cover has gotten wet at some time. The info sheet is in nice condition. The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint. The labels are blank with hand written sides noted.
I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch thick cardboard. ( It's so thick that you will save it and use again. ) It will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship. You can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail. It will be sent by First Class Mail International to overseas buyers. ( Buyers from Italy will assume all risks for shipping to their country) I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day of before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM ) I will combine postage if you win more than one record. This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
