Description
“Look Up” Eternal Life #41196. Here is a review by Ken Scott from “Archivist – Vintage Vinyl Jesus Music 1965-1980.” Solid heavy rocking private press that’s worthy of the same pedestal as The Daniel Band and Barnabas. Tough yet melodic 80’s arena hard-rock sound featuring loud metallic electric guitar riffs aplenty backed by a spacious wall of synthesizers. Moods range from the power ballads ‘Thank You Jesus’ and ‘Dreams’ to the fast-rocking ‘Set Free’ and ‘I’ve got a Feeling,’ with songs like ‘Light Shine,’ ‘Lovin’ on my Mind,’ Dreams’ and the title track falling somewhere in between. ‘Put on the Armor’ anticipates the whole Stryper/Barren Cross metal thing that was about to break loose. Four guys (including two lead guitarists) and two girls (both on keyboards) from Grand Junction, Colorado. Would have been a perfect candidate for the Tunesmith label. Vinyl is in mint minus condition. Cover is in VG+ condition. There is light general wear but all seams are intact.
