Description
Need a remix that clunks and bangs in all the right places? Where sub-aquatic bass-lines rattle the kidneys and angular breakbeats hold neat, military precision? Then you need Remix and Additional Production by Hybrid. Hybrid are, of course, masters of pop-tinged, shimmering nu-skool breaks. 1999s Wide Angle album turned many on to their widescreen antics: a cinematic extravaganza of blissed-out strings and celestial beats. Here, that same sonic wizardry is applied to all manner of willing participants. Witness St Etienne sounding better than ever on the punch drunk "Boy Is Crying", emotional pop gems from Andreas Johnson and Alanis Morrisette flying high on newly mechanical wings. Occasional misjudged attempts at trance do blot the copybook (hello Jean Michel Jarre), but, for the most part, Hybrid are right on the button when it comes to searing-high drama and dancefloor clout. -- Paul Tierney
Item condition
Condition of vinyl is EXCELLENT. Hardly and traces of use with some very minor hairline surface scratches. Tested and sounds great.
Condition of original album sleeve is EXCELLENT
Does have some edge ware from shelf storage and small creases
